ClearGuard: AI Photo Cleaner (referred to as "the App", "we", "our", or "us") is committed to protecting your privacy. This Privacy Policy explains how we collect, use, and share information when you use our iOS application.
1. Information We Collect
1.1 Information You Provide Directly
The App does not require you to create an account or provide personal information to use its core features. However, we may collect:
- Contact information: If you contact our support team, we collect your email address and the content of your message.
1.2 Device and Usage Information
We automatically collect certain technical information when you use the App:
- Device identifiers:
- IDFV (Identifier for Vendor) - a unique device identifier for this app
- IDFA (Advertising Identifier) - only collected if you grant App Tracking Transparency (ATT) permission
- Adjust Device ID (ADID) - generated by our analytics partner
- Device information: Device model, operating system version, language settings, and timezone
- App usage data: Features you use, actions you take within the app, session duration, and app version
- Subscription data: Purchase transaction IDs, subscription status, and product IDs (no payment card information is collected - all payments are processed by Apple)
- Crash and diagnostic data: Stack traces, error logs, and app performance metrics to identify and fix bugs
1.3 Local Device Data Access
The App requests permission to access the following data stored on your device. All processing happens locally on your device - we do not upload this data to our servers:
- Photo Library: To analyze and identify duplicate, similar, or low-quality photos and videos. Photos are processed on-device using computer vision algorithms.
- Contacts: To identify duplicate or incomplete contact entries. Contact data is analyzed locally and not transmitted.
- Calendar: To identify and help clean expired calendar events. Calendar data remains on your device.
Important: Photos, contacts, and calendar data are processed entirely on your device. We do not have access to this information and do not upload it to any server.
1.4 Biometric Data
If you enable the Private Space feature, the App uses Face ID or Touch ID to authenticate access. Biometric data is processed by iOS and never leaves your device or becomes accessible to us.
